66Thumbnail operationsSelecting the thumbnail display method (THUMBNAIL)You can display the kind of clips you want to see asthumbnails.You can also set more precisely how you want thethumbnails to appear on the screen.1 On the thumbnail screen, press the MENUbutton.A menu now appears. (Page 63) Push the Operation lever in the e or rdirection to select THUMBNAIL and press it(or push it in the q direction) again.THUMBNAILOPERATIONPROPERTYMETA DATAEXIT Push the Operation lever in the e or rdirection to make a selection and press itagain.THUMBNAILOPERATIONPROPERTYMETA DATAEXITALL CLIPSAME FORMAT CLIPSSELECTED CLIPSMARKED CLIPSTEXT MEMO CLIPSSLOT CLIPSSETUPEXITALL CLIP:All the clips are displayed.SAME FORMAT CLIPS:The clips in the format same as the MCRformat are displayed.SELECTED CLIPS:The clips you have selected are displayed.MARKED CLIPS:The clips with shot marks are displayed.TEXT MEMO CLIPS:The clips with text memos are displayed.The thumbnails at text memo positions, timecodes (TC), total number of memos and thecurrent order of the clips are displayed.To delete a text memo:1) Move the yellow frame to the clip whosetext memo is to be deleted, and pressthe Operation lever. A thumbnail of thetext memo now appears.2) Select the thumbnail of the text memo tobe deleted.3) Press the MENU button to displaythe menu, and select OPERATION-DELETE.SLOT CLIPS:The clips on the P2 card in the specified slotare displayed.SETUP:Various setup operations are performed.EXIT:Select this to return to the last screen.Proceed to step 4 only when you have selectedSETUP. Push the Operation lever in the e or rdirection to select an item and press itagain.ALL HIDE:Selecting ON hides MARKED IND., TEXTMEMO IND., WIDE IND. and PROXY IND.MARKED IND.:Select this to set whether the shot markindicator is to be displayed (ON/OFF).TEXT MEMO IND.:Select this to set whether the text memoindicator is to be displayed (ON/OFF).WIDE IND.:Select this to set whether the wide indicatoris to be displayed (ON/OFF).PROXY IND.:Select this to set whether the proxy indicatoris to be displayed (ON/OFF).DATA DISPLAY:Select the time code (TC), user information(UB), shooting time (TIME), shooting date(DATE), shooting date (DATE TIME) or userclip name (USER CLIP NAME) for the areawhere the clip time is displayed.
