(page 29)21 GENLOCK IN connectorThis connector inputs a reference signal when thecamera unit is gen-locked, or when the time code isexternally locked. NOTE• Supply an HD Y signal (1080/50i (59.94i), 720/50P (59.94P))or a composite signal (576/50i (480/59.94i)) as inputreference signal. The subcarrier of VIDEO OUT connectoroutput (composite signal) cannot be externally locked. InSD mode, the signal will not lock to the HD signal.22 REMOTE connectorSome functions can be remote controlled when theremote control unit AJ-RC10G (optional accessory) isconnected to the camera.For details, refer to [Connecting the AJ-RC10G RemoteController] (page 105).23 VIDEO OUT connectorThis connector outputs video signals.• In HD mode, down-converted composite videosignals are output.• Use the menu option DOWNCON MODE in theOUTPUT SEL screen to set signal output. It is used for recording and loading camera settingmenus or lens files, uploading meta data and recordingproxies (optional). NOTESD memory card precautions• Use only SD memory cards that conform to the SDstandard or the SDHC standard in this camera.• MultiMediaCards (MMC) cannot be used. (Use of suchcards may prevent recording.)• Be sure to use mini SD card adapters when using miniSD cards with this camera. (Note that this camera willnot operate normally when a mini SD adapter is installedwithout inserting a card. Be sure to insert a card when anadapter is installed.)• Use of Panasonic SD memory cards and mini SD cardsis recommended. Thisconnector does not support up-conversion.It outputs the same signals as SDI OUT.29 SCENE FILE dialThis dial allows you to select and load shootingconditions from the scene files prerecorded to each ofthe six positions.
