108 Preparation: Power SupplyA battery pack or an external DC power supply can be used as AJ-HPX3100’s power supply.Battery packs from the following manufacturers can be used:• Anton/Bauer• IDXThe type of the battery can be checked or changed throughthe viewfinder or menu screen on the monitor.z Pull the MARKER SEL, MODE CHK / MENU CANCELswitch on the camera-recorder to display at the upper rightof the viewfinder screen the currently set battery type.z Through the BATTERY SELECT menu option, you cancheck and change the battery type. The menu itemBATTERY SELECT is found in the screen on the MAIN OPERATION page.Notesz Other batteries may be used by changing the menu setting(TYPE A item, TYPE B item, TYPE C item), but systemcompatibility is not guaranteed.
