If the IP address is assigned, SNMP traps will be sentto that IP address. For line up and line down traps, Line down indication has to be set to error(2) on the SlotConfiguration page for each card (see section “Slot Configuration” on page 243).The line up, line down, and card lost trap messages will include the box name, rack number, card number inthat rack, and local circuit ID in the trap string followed by a description of the trap.
