There are eight main options for programming andseveral sub–options to customise the application. Simple YES/NO, numericand alpha characters are required for setting VM/AA.The following options may be selected for VM/AA operation:0. EXT FOR DN1 DTMF information for the station that called theVM/AA port station that is forwarded to VM/AAport.1. TRK FOR DN1 DTMF information for the trunk that called theVM/AA port.2. EXT FOR DN2 DTMF information for the station that originatedthe call to a station that is forwarded to a VM/AAport.3. TRK FOR DN2 DTMF information for the trunk that called astation forwarded to a VM/AA port.4. SEPARATOR In cases where DN2 is used, this specific digit issent between the DN1 and the DN2 information.Both DN1 and DN2 must be set to YES forSEPARATOR to be sent.5. DISCONNECT SIGNAL This signal is sent when the calling station or C.O.line hangs up.6. CALL TYPE ID Under this VM/AA option are several customisingapplications:0. DIRECT CALL A call originating directly from another station inthe system.1. ALL FWD CALL This indicates that a call was forwarded to theVM/AA port from a station with CALL FORWARDALL set.2. BSY FWD CALL This indicates that a call was forwarded to theVM/AA port from a station with CALL FORWARDBUSY set.3. NOA FWD CALL This indicates that a call was forwarded to theVM/AA port from a station with CALL FORWARDNO ANSWER set.
