NOTE!These parameters can be used with VACON® NXP drive only.EXAMPLE:Motor Control Mode = 3 (Closed loop speed control)This is the usual operation mode when fast response times, high accuracy or controlled runat zero frequencies are needed. Encoder board should be connected to slot C of the controlunit. Set the encoder P/R-parameter (P7.3.1.1). Run in open loop and check the encoderspeed and direction (V7.3.2.2). Switch the encoder wiring or the phases of motor cables ifnecessary. Do not run if encoder speed is wrong. Program the no-load current to parameterID612 or perform the ID run without load on motor shaft and set parameter ID619 (SlipAdjust) to get the voltage slightly above the linear U/f-curve with the motor frequency atabout 66% of the nominal motor frequency. The Motor Nominal Speed parameter (ID112) iscritical. The Current Limit parameter (ID107) controls the available torque linearly in relativeto motor nominal current.9.9 "TERMINAL TO FUNCTION" (TTF) PROGRAMMING PRINCIPLEThe programming principle of the input and output signals in the Multipurpose ControlApplication as well as in the Pump and Fan Control Application (and partly in the otherapplications) is different compared to the conventional method used in other VACON® NXapplications. In the conventional programming method, Function to Terminal Programming Method (FTT),you have a fixed input or output that you define a certain function for. The applicationsmentioned above, however, use the Terminal to Function Programming method (TTF) inwhich the programming process is carried out the other way round: Functions appear asparameters which the operator defines a certain input/output for. See Warning in Chapter9.9.2 Defining a terminal for a certain function with NCDrive programming tool.9.9.1 DEFINING AN INPUT/OUTPUT FOR A CERTAIN FUNCTION ON KEYPADConnecting a certain input or output with a certain function (parameter) is done by giving theparameter an appropriate value. The value is formed of the Board slot on the VACON® NXcontrol board (see the product's User Manual) and the respective signal number, see below.READYI/O termDigOUT:B.1AI Ref Faul/WarnAB C DFig. 94: Defining an input/output for a certain function on keypadA.
