EXAMPLEYou want to connect the digital output function Reference fault/warning (parameter 2.3.3.7)to the digital output DO1 on the basic board OPTA1 (see the product's User Manual).1 Find the parameter 2.3.3.7 on the keypad. Press theMenu button right once to enter the edit mode. Onthe value line, you will see the terminal type on theleft (DigIN, DigOUT, An.IN, An.OUT) and on theright, the present input/output the function isconnected to (B.3, A.2 etc.), or if not connected, avalue (0.#).2 When the value is blinking, hold down the Browserbutton up or down to find the desired board slotand signal number.
