TheCONFIGURATION menu screen is displayed.3. Press the Next key until POWER SAVER is highlighted.4. Press the Enter key to select POWER SAVER. The POWERSAVER screen is displayed.POWER SAVERPOWER SAVER DELAY (0 − 4 HR): 35. Use the numeric keypad to enter the power saver value. Thevalid value range is 0 to 4 hours. The factory default is 3 hours.6. Press the Enter key to confirm the value.7. Press the Exit key to return to the CONFIGURATION menuscreen.The SCANNER CONTROL option of the CONFIGURATION menu allowsyou to set the options for how the Scanner starts and finishes a scan. Itcontains the following features:• AUTOSCAN - Tells the Scanner either to start the scanautomatically when the document is inserted (ENABLED), or towait until the Start key is pressed (DISABLED). ENABLED isthe factory default setting.• DOCUMENT RETURN - Tells the Scanner, after the scan, eitherto return the document to the front of the Scanner (FRONT), orto drop the document from the rear of the Scanner into the catchtray (REAR). REAR is the factory default setting.NOTE: Refer to Controlling the Scan for additional information.• MODE:• MANUAL WIDTH - The user must enter the document widthand very carefully center the document. In this mode thedocument will be prescanned.• AUTOWIDTH - Enables the automatic detection of the widthof the document. . In this mode the document will beprescanned.• AUTOWIDTH/AUTOCENTER - Enables the automaticcentering of the image and automatic width detection. Thisselection is the default. .
