XEROX WIDE FORMAT COPY SYSTEM Main Menu • 115Diagnostics menuThe DIAGNOSTICS option of the Main Menu contains the followingmenu choices:• USAGE METERS - Enables you to view usage information fordocuments scanned and media printed.• CLEAR SCANNER USAGE - Enables the Customer ServiceEngineer to reset to zero the usage value for documentsscanned. The diagnostic password is required for this function.• SCANNER DIAGNOSTICS - Provides a sub-menu of Scannerdiagnostic routines. Some of these routines are accessible byboth the operator and the Customer Service Engineer, butshould only be accessed by and operator when directed to do soby Service. Access to these tests has been given to enablesome preliminary diagnostics to be done by phone before aCustomer Service Engineer is dispatched. Others are accessibleby the Service Engineer only and require the entry of thediagnostic password.• INSTALLATION TEST PRINT - Enables the Customer ServiceEngineer to make a copy of the test print to assist in diagnosingthe scanner.• PASSWORD - Enables the Customer Service Engineer to enterthe password for access to password-protected diagnosticfunctions.To access the DIAGNOSTICS menu:1. Press the Menu key. The MAIN MENU screen is displayed.2. Press the Next key until DIAGNOSTICS is highlighted.3. Press the Enter key to select DIAGNOSTICS. TheDIAGNOSTICS menu screen is displayed. Press the Previous or Next key to scroll through the list ofoptions5. When the desired option is highlighted, press the Enter key toselect the option.
