When you open the panelsand covers that are screwed shut to install or detach optional accessories, ensure that youfollow the instructions in the User Guide. Do not try to alter the printer configuration or modifyany parts. Plug thepower cord into the electrical outlet, then press thepower switch to the on position.Is the power cord disconnectedfrom the printer or the rear ofthe rack?Is power of the correct voltagebeing supplied?Ensure that the power supply is 200 -240 V, 15 A.Ensure that the power supplied is of a capacity that iscompatible with the specified maximum powerconsumption of the printer (2.8 - 3.1 KVA).The display isdark.Is power saver mode on? The printer is in power saver mode. To cancel powersaver mode, press the Power Saver button on thecontrol panel.Is the brightness dial set toolow?Adjust the display brightness using the brightnessdial.Unable to print, orunable to copy.Is a message displayed on thecontrol panel?Follow the instructions displayed.Is the printer mode offline? Press the Machine Status button, then from theprinter mode, select Online.Is the power cord disconnectedfrom the printer or the rear ofthe rack?Press the power switch to the off position, then firmlyplug in the power cord.
