Check:• Fuel hose “1”• Fuel tank breather hose “2”• Fuel tank overflow hose “3”• Fuel tank breather/overflow hose “4”Cracks/damage → Replace.Loose connection → Connect properly.NOTICEEC3P61005Make sure the fuel tank breather/overflowhose is routed correctly.3. Remove:• Spark plugNOTICEECA13320Before removing the spark plugs, blow awayany dirt accumulated in the spark plug wellswith compressed air to prevent it from fallinginto the cylinders.4. Check:• Spark plug typeIncorrect → Change.5. Check:• Electrodes “1”Damage/wear → Replace the spark plug.• Insulator “2”Abnormal color → Replace the spark plug.Normal color is medium-to-light tan.6. Clean:• Spark plug(with a spark plug cleaner or wire brush)7. Measure:• Spark plug gap “a”(with a wire thickness gauge)Out of specification → Regap.8. Install:• Spark plugTIPBefore installing the spark plug, clean the sparkplug and gasket surface.9.
