Install:• Brake master cylinder• Brake master cylinder holder “1”TIP• Install the brake master cylinder holder with the“UP” mark “a” facing up.• Align the projection “b” on the brake master cyl-inder holder with the hole “c” in the handlebar.• First, tighten the upper bolt, then the lower bolt.2. Install:• Copper washers “1”• Front brake hose “2”• Brake hose union bolt “3”WARNINGEWA13530Proper brake hose routing is essential to in-sure safe vehicle operation.NOTICEECA14160When installing the brake hose onto thebrake master cylinder, make sure the brakepipe touches the projection “a” as shown.TIPTurn the handlebar to the left and right to makesure the brake hose does not touch other parts(e.g., wire harness, cables, leads). Correct ifnecessary.3. Install:• Brake lever cable joint “1”(to the front brake lever knocker “2”)TIPInstall the brake lever cable joint so that the slot“a” is positioned as shown in the illustration.4.
