Suspend the thermostat “1” in a container “2”filled with water.b. Slowly heat the water.c. Place a thermometer “3” in the water.d. While stirring the water “4”, observe the ther-mostat and thermometer’s indicated temper-ature.e. Check the thermostat element position “5”.Same level for the thermostat element upperend and the hole lower line “a” at 95 °C(203°F)TIPIf the accuracy of the thermostat is in doubt, re-place it.
