While lightly pressing the timing chain ten-sioner rod by hand, turn the tensioner rod ful-ly clockwise with a thin screwdriver “1”.TIPMake sure that the tensioner rod has been fullyturned clockwise.c. Install the gasket and the timing chain ten-sioner “2” onto the cylinder.WARNINGEWA17620Always use a new gasket.TIP• Be sure to install the timing chain tensionergasket so that its projection “a” is protrudingfrom the rear left side of the timing chain ten-sioner.• Apply sealant to the threads of the timing chaintensioner bolts.d.
