If the drive chain is not maintained prop-erly, it will wear out rapidly. Therefore, the drivechain should be serviced, especially when themotorcycle is used in dusty areas. This motor-cycle has a drive chain with small rubber O-rings between each side plate. Steam cleaning,high-pressure washing, certain solvents, andthe use of a coarse brush can damage these O-rings. Therefore, use only kerosine to clean thedrive chain. Wipe the drive chain dry and thor-oughly lubricate it with engine oil or chain lubri-cant that is suitable for O-ring chains.
