IOLMaster 700 Parts Removal Replacement3.3.3 Computer Module ReplacementNoteThe new computer module comes with two hard drives and mSATA which must beinstalled in the faulty computer module and returned to CZM.Precondition: The computer module and cover have been removed from the IOLMaster 700.See section 3.3.2, page 14.Procedure:1) Remove the cover from new computermodule (3 screws – Torx 10 + 8) and removethe two hard drives (empty) and mSATA(refer to 3.3.8, page 19 and 3.3.7, page 18).2) Remove the two hard drives and mSATA(refer to 3.3.8, page 19 and 3.3.7, page 18)from the faulty computer module and installin the new computer module.3) Install the two hard drives and mSATAdelivered with the new computer module inthe faulty computer module.4) Note/photograph the computer serialnumber. This will be required by the servicetool!Fig. 33 – Computer Module ReplacementReassembly:1) Reassemble following the reassembly steps described in section 3.3.2, page 14.2) It may be necessary to change the boot order.3) Using the IOLMaster 700 service tool carry out standard use case S401.4) Create a hard drive backup.
