IOLMaster ® 700 General Information1.4 IOLMaster® 700 Service StrategyThe service strategy for IOLMaster® 700 envisages that field service must only be performed byappropriately trained technicians authorized by ZEISS. These activities are described in this servicemanual and are dealt with in detail during the service training for this product.Only original spare parts must be used.For maintenance and repair adequate ESD protection measures must be taken. Only tools specified inthe tools list must be used (see section 7).1.4.1 General Safety InstructionsIf you need to gain access to the interior electronics of the IOLMaster® 700, especially the computerbase, always disconnect the instrument from any and all power sources first.For maintenance and repair adequate ESD protection measures must be taken. Only tools specified inthe tools list may be used (see section 7).Only original spare parts listed in section 7 and the official CZM spare part price list must be used.Do not use or install software which is not approved and tested by CZM.
