IOLMaster 700 Parts Removal Replacement3.5.2 PI ReplacementPrecondition: The PI has been removed. See section 3.5.1, page 26.NoteThe test eye from the old PI must beinstalled on the new PI.Procedure:1) Remove the four screws (Torx 10).2) Gently separate the front cover from the oldPI. Begin at the top and work to the bottom.3) Unlock the flip compartment by pulling therelease lever to the left.4) Unclip the test eye (don’t remove the screws)and gently push it to remove it, it will benecessary to rotate the test eye to free it. Becareful to not scratch/dirty the optics.Reassembly:1) Reassemble in the reverse order, observingthe following:2) It is not necessary to remove the front overfrom the new PI for test eye installation.3) After installation of the new PI the test eyecan be installed using Test case S705.
