If this messageappears, the vehicle has determined that continuedoperation at the existing engine speed may lead toengine overheating. The vehicle automatically limitsengine RPMs to prevent engine overheating. You maynotice the vehicle upshifting early or reduced speedswhile this message is displayed. When the engine oilreturns to a safe operating temperature, this messageclears from the DIC and the vehicle returns to normaloperation. Your vehicle does not require service whenthis message is displayed.FUEL LEVEL LOWThis symbol appears withthis message.This message displays and a chime sounds if the fuellevel is low. Refuel as soon as possible. See Fuel Gageon page 3-71 and Fuel on page 5-5 for more information.HOOD AJARThis symbol appears withthis message.This message displays when the hood is not closedcompletely. Make sure that the hood is closedcompletely. See Hood Release on page 5-11.ICE POSSIBLEThis message displays when the outside temperatureis cold enough to create icy road conditions. Adjust yourdriving accordingly.KEY FOB BATTERY LOWThis message displays when the battery in the keylessaccess transmitter is low. Replace the battery in thetransmitter.
