This is completely normal;however, since the crossbar lowerswith the Midgate, it will be heavier.As you lower the Midgate be readyfor the extra weight and do not letthe Midgate fall as you lower it.Raising the MidgateTo return the Midgate to its normalposition, raise the Midgate up with afirm swinging motion until it latchesinto place securely. This will help toensure that the Midgate closes withenough force to engage the latches.If the rear glass is removed and youwould like to put it back, do so usingthe instructions given previously.Tailgate{ WARNINGIt is extremely dangerous to rideon the tailgate, even when thevehicle is operated at low speeds.People riding on the tailgate caneasily lose their balance and fallin response to vehiclemaneuvers.
