A passengerhas a medical condition which,according to his or her physician:• Causes the passenger airbag topose a special risk for thepassenger; and• Makes the potential harm from thepassenger airbag in a crashgreater than the potential harmfrom turning off the airbag andallowing the passenger, even ifbelted, to hit the dashboard orwindshield in a crash.{ WARNINGIf the outboard front passengerfrontal airbag is turned off for aperson who is not in a risk groupidentified by the United Statesnational government, that personwill not have the extra protectionof an airbag. In a crash, the airbagwill not be able to inflate and helpprotect the person sitting there.Do not turn off the passengerfrontal airbag unless the personsitting there is in a risk groupidentified by the United Statesnational government.To turn off the outboard frontpassenger frontal airbag, insert anykey or a coin into the switch, push in,and move the switch to the offposition.The word OFF or the off symbol willcome on in the passenger airbagstatus indicator located in theoverhead console to let you knowthat the outboard front passengerfrontal airbag is off, after the systemcheck is completed.
