You can send a document once to a fax in a distantlocation and then have that fax relay your document to several other destinationsin the same area.Remote receiving IDThe number you dial on an extension to start receiving a fax. The default remotereceiving ID is 25, so just dial 25 and then hang up the handset of the extensiontelephone.Remote receptionAllows you to receive a fax transmission with an extension telephone. To startreceiving a fax, dial the remote receiving ID (25). You can also set the fax to startreceiving by hanging up.ReportsThis is a list of reports printed by the facsimile:J Activity Management Report (TX or RX) You can set the fax to print areport every time you send or receive a document. You can also set the fax toprint part of the document on the report to remind you of the content of thedocument. To turn printing these activity reports on and off, use the usersettings.J Activity Report Provides a record of the last 40 sending and receivingtransactions. You can print out activity management reports manuallywhenever you want to review the last 40 transactions, set the fax up to printthem automatically after every 40 transactions, print the report at the sametime every day, or print the report showing the sending transactions ofindividuals or departments in your company, using department codesregistered on the fax, as well as a list of receptions.J Confidential RX Report After you receive a confidential document in amailbox, the fax prints out a confidential message notice. No special settingsare required. Each notice shows the date and time you received theconfidential document, the name and telephone number of the party sendingthe confidential document, whether the document was successfully received,and other useful information.J Error TX Report If the fax fails to send a document because the other partydoes not answer, even after automatic redialling, or if an error occurs, thenyour fax will immediately print an error transmission report. The reportincludes the facsimile number of the other party so you can try sending againand can print part of the first page of the document so you can identify it.J Memory Clear Report When documents are stored in the memory if powerto the fax is cut off for more than 12 hours, the documents stored in thememory will be erased. After power is restored, a Memory Clear List willprint to show you what documents have been erased. If power is restoredwithin 12 hours, the documents are not erased and no report prints.
