Tire and/or wheel failure could resultin a machine tip-over. Component damage mayalso result if problems are not discovered andrepaired in a timely fashion.Bodily injury hazard. An over-inflated tire can explode and couldcause death or serious injury.Tip-over hazard. Do not usetemporary flat tire repair products.The tires on some machines arefoam-filled and do not need airadded to them.1 Check all tire treads and sidewalls for cuts,cracks, punctures and unusual wear.2 Check each wheel for damage, bends andcracked welds.3 Check each lug nut for proper torque. Refer toSection 2, Specifications.4 Check the pressure in each air-filled tire. Referto Section 2, Specifications.7 Inspect the head cooling passages and fins forphysical damage or foreign material, using aflashlight.8 Clean the cylinder head cooling passages ofdebris and foreign material.9 Install the engine side cover.10 Swing the engine pivot plate in towards themachine.11 Install the bolts that were just removed into theoriginal holes to secure the engine pivot plate.Crushing hazard. Failure to installthe bolts into the engine pivot plateto secure it from moving couldresult in death or serious injury.
