The machine will notoperate properly if the rpm is incorrect andcontinued use may cause component damage.Ford models:The engine rpm is controlled by theECM and can only be adjusted byre-programming the ECM. If rpmadjustment or service is required,please contact Genie IndustriesService Department OR your localFord dealer.Deutz models:This procedure will require twopeople.1 Remove the two engine pivot plate retainingbolts. Swing the engine pivot plate out awayfrom the machine and secure it from moving.Crushing hazard. Failure to securethe engine pivot plate from movingcould result in death or seriousinjury.
