Enginefuels are combustible. Perform thisprocedure in an open, well-ventilated area away from heaters,sparks, flames and lightedtobacco. Always have an approvedfire extinguisher within easy reach.The engine should be warmed tonormal operating temperaturebefore performing this procedure.1 Move the fuel select toggle switch to LPG fueland start the engine from the ground controls.2 Locate the high idle mixture adjustmentscrew on the LPG venturi that attaches to theair cleaner hose.3 Loosen the lock nut on the high idle mixtureadjustment screw.4 Load the system by activating the primary boomretract function and moving the function enabletoggle switch to the high idle (rabbit symbol)position.5 Adjust the high idle adjustment screw to obtainan air-to-fuel mixture ratio of 13:1 to 13.2:1,using an exhaust gas analyzer.Preliminary setting is 1/ 4 inch /6.4 mm of threads showing.Measure from the top of lock nut tothe top of the adjustment screw.If an exhaust gas analyzer is notavailable, adjust to obtain peak oroptimum rpm.6 Hold the adjustment screw and tighten thelock nut.7 Return the function enable toggle switch to thecenter position.8 Locate the low idle mixture adjustment screw onthe LPG regulator.9 Adjust the low idle mixture adjustment screw toobtain an air-to-fuel mixture ratio of 13:1 to13.2:1.Preliminary setting: turn low idleadjustment screw clockwise all theway in. Turn low idle adjustmentscrew counterclockwise 2 3/ 4turns.CHECKLIST D PROCEDURES
