Removing the power interposer card assemblyTo remove the power interposer card assembly, complete the following steps:1. Read the safety information and installation guidelines, see “Safety” on page viiand “Installation guidelines” on page 261.2. Turn off the server (see “Turning off the server” on page 17) and all attachedperipheral devices. Disconnect all power cords; then, disconnect all externalcables as necessary to replace the device.3. Remove the server cover (see “Removing the server top cover” on page 264).4. Disconnect the power supplies that are connected to the power interposer cardassembly.5. Disconnect the power interposer card power cable from the power interposercard assembly; then, pull the power interposer card up and out of theconnectors on the system board.Powerinterposercard6. If you are instructed to return the power interposer card assembly, follow all ofthe packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping thatare supplied to you.Replacing a power interposer card assemblyTo install the power interposer card assembly, complete the following steps:1. Read the safety information that begins on page “Safety” on page vii and“Installation guidelines” on page 261.2.
