- Power Restore PolicySelect this choice to determine the mode of operation to which the serverwill be restored after a power outage occurs. You can select Always Off,Restore, or Always On to restore the server the state that it was set to atthe time of the power outage.– Operating ModesSelect this choice to view or change the operating profile (performance andpower utilization). This choice specify a preset operating mode to configurethe server for maximum power savings, maximum efficiency, or maximumperformance.- Efficiency modeSelect this choice to maintain the optimal balance between performance andpower consumption. The server generally produces the best performanceper watt while it is in this mode.- Acoustic modeSelect this choice to configure the server to draw the minimum amount ofpower and generate the least noise. Server performance might be degradeddepending on the application that you are running.- Performance modeSelect this choice to achieve the highest absolute performance for mostserver applications. The power consumption in this mode is often higherthan in the Efficiency or the Acoustics mode.- Custom modeSelect this choice only if you understand the functions of the low-levelIMM settings. This is the only choice that enables you to change thelow-level IMM settings that affect the performance and power consumptionof the server.– Integrated Management ModuleSelect this choice to view or change the settings for the integratedmanagement module.- POST Watchdog TimerSelect this choice to view or enable the POST watchdog timer.- POST Watchdog Timer ValueSelect this choice to view or set the POST loader watchdog timer value.- Reboot System on NMIEnable or disable restarting the server whenever a nonmaskable interrupt(NMI) occurs.
