Configuring Your Server4-45Enabling RAID Feature by BIOS SETUP UtilityThe two hard disk drives installed can be used either as a single disk or a RAID drive.To configure a disk drives as RAID drive, you must specify the hard disk drive being connected tothe onboard SATA connector as a RAID drive by using the BIOS SETUP Utility.NOTE:The factory-set value is to use the hard disk drive as a singledisk drive.To change settings by BIOS SETUP Utility:1.Start the BIOS SETUP utility.See "Starting SETUP Utility" described earlier.2.Select [Advanced]→[SATA RAID Enable]→[Enabled].3.Select [Exit]→[Exit Saving Changes] to save the settings and exit the SETUP utility.This completes the setting. When the setting has been changed, POST will display a message toprompt you to start [Array Configuration Utility (ACU)] every time the server is started.Press for Adaptec RAID Configuration UtilityStart the utility to configure the RAID drive as needed.
