Notes on Using Your Server 1-9TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTYThe following must be observed when you transfer (or sell) the server or software provided with theserver to a third party:Make sure to provide this manual along with the server to a third party.IMPORTANT: About data on the hard disk driveBe sure to take appropriate measures not to leak important data (e.g.,customers' information or companies' management information) on theremoved hard disk drive to any third parties.Data seems to be erased when you empty "Recycle Bin" of Windows orexecute the "format" command of the operating system. However, theactual data remains written on the hard disk drive. Data not erasedcompletely may be restored by special software and used forunexpected purposes.It is strongly recommended that the software or service (both availableat stores) for data erasure should be used in order to avoid the troubleexplained above. For details on data erasure, ask your salesrepresentative.Provided softwareTo transfer or sell any software application that comes with the server to a third party, the followingrequirements must be satisfied: All provided software applications must be transferred and no backup copies must beretained. Transfer requirements listed in "Software License Agreement" that comes with eachsoftware application must be satisfied. Software applications that are not approved for transfer must be uninstalled beforetransferring the server.
