Upgrading Your Server 9-555.25-inch DeviceThe server contains three slots in which backup devices including optical disk drive and magnetictape drive can be installed. The optical disk drive is factory-installed in bottom slot. To install abackup device, you must prepare a separately priced SCSI controller.IMPORTANT: Two single-height devices or one double-height device can beinstalled. Set the SCSI termination of the device to be installed to OFF andassign a unique SCSI ID not duplicated or corrupted with that ofany other device. Refer to the documentation coming with each ofthe devices for how to assign an ID. For single-height device, first install a device in slot 1.
