When thatcontact or group member callsyou, the phone plays the chosenringing tone (if the caller’stelephone number is sent with thecall and your phone recognizes it).1. Select Menu > Contacts.2. To add a ringing tone to acontact, select the contact,Options > Ringing tone, andthe desired ringing tone.To add a ringing tone to agroup, select the groups listand scroll to a contact group.Select Options > Ringing toneand the ringing tone for thegroup.To remove the personal or groupringing tone, select Default toneas a ringing tone.■ Assign speed dialingkeysSpeed dialing is a quick way to callfrequently used numbers. You canassign a phone number to thespeed dialing keys 2 to 9. Thenumber 1 is reserved for the voicemailbox. Speed dialing has to beactivated before using speeddialing. See Speed dialling in“Call” p. 73.1. Select Menu > Contacts and acontact.2. Scroll to a number, and selectOptions > Assign speed dial.Scroll to the desired speeddialing key, and select Assign.When you return to the contactinformation view, next tothe number indicates theassigned speed dial.To call the contact by speeddialing, in the standby mode, pressthe speed dialing key and the callkey, or press and hold the speeddialing key.
