This is calledmemory transmission. The fax data istransmitted while it is scanned. This is called realtime transmission. Real time transmissionThe real time transmission is a method totransmit data to a destination party withoutstoring document data in memory. In this mode,transmission starts right after the transmissionoperation, and this allows you to check that thefax is transmitted to its destination. Memory transmissionThe memory transmission is a method totransmit after storing document data in memory.In this mode, you do not have to wait for themachine to finish transmission.The factory default is set to the memorytransmission.To enable the real time transmission, perform thefollowing operation.Note You can scan only a single page when using the documentglass for real time transmission.
