A combined screen with a balanced contrast canbe displayed by sharing the brightness level of the video signal input to each projector when a multi-display isconstructed by linking the projected images of multiple projectors.For details of how to connect the projectors, refer to “Connection example when multiple projected images are tobe synchronized” (x page 51).1) Press as to select [FRAME SYNC SETTING].2) Press the button.f The [FRAME SYNC SETTING] screen is displayed.3) Press as to select [FRAME SYNC].4) Press qw to switch the item.f The items will switch each time you press the button.[OFF] Select this item when the frames are not to be synchronized.[MASTER] Select this item when the frames are to be synchronized.Set this item in the one projector that is to be the synchronization source.[SLAVE] Select this item when the frames are to be synchronized.Set this item in all the projectors that are to be the synchronization target.f When anything other than [OFF] is selected, proceed to Step 5).The usage of the terminal and the terminal isdisplayed in [FRAME SYNC1] and [FRAME SYNC2] in the [FRAME SYNC SETTING] screen.The contents that are displayed are as follows.[FRAME SYNC] [FRAME SYNC1] [FRAME SYNC2][MASTER][OUTPUT] is displayed.The terminal willoperate as an output terminal.Connect to the terminal of the projector that is to be thesynchronization target.[OUTPUT] is displayed.The terminal will operateas an output terminal.Connect to the terminal of the projector that is to be thesynchronization target.[SLAVE][INPUT] is displayed.The terminal willoperate as an input terminal.[OUTPUT] is displayed.The terminal will operateas an output terminal.5) Press as to select [CONTRAST SYNC].6) Press qw to switch the item.f The items will switch each time you press the button.[OFF] Select this item when the contrast is not balanced in the combined screen.[ON]Select this item when the contrast is balanced in the combined screen.The synchronization source projector with [FRAME SYNC] set to [MASTER] will calculate thebrightness level of the video signal to become optimum on the whole combined screen for everyframe.
