Chapter 2 Getting Started — ConnectingENGLISH - 47f Directly connect the projector with the external device that will output the signal without going through a distributor, etc., when inputting quadlink signals. Consult your dealer regarding the version update to the latest firmware if the version is earlier than2.00.For details on how to confirm the firmware version, refer to “How to confirm the firmware version of the 3G-SDI Terminal Board with Audio”(x page 31).f Use a connection cable with 5CFB or higher (such as 5CFB or 7CFB), or Belden 1694A or higher to properly transmit images. Use aconnection cable of 100 m (328'1") length or less.f Setting the [DISPLAY OPTION] menu → [SLOT IN] is required depending on the connected external device or the input signal.Set [SDI LINK] in [SLOT IN] when the dual link signal or the quad link signal is input.f To input the dual link signal, use the cable with same length and same type for connecting to the <3G-SDI 1 IN> terminal and the <3G-SDI 2IN> terminal, or the <3G-SDI 3 IN> terminal and the <3G-SDI 4 IN> terminal. The image may not be projected correctly when the differenceof the cable length is 4 m (13'1") or more.f To input the quad link signal, use the cable with same length and same type for connecting to each of <3G-SDI 1 IN>/<3G-SDI 2 IN>/<3G-SDI 3 IN>/<3G-SDI 4 IN> terminals.
