8.4 Settings for Common Basic Functions8-19 Operation88.4.5 Instantaneous Power Interruption SettingsIf the power interruption time is shorter than 50 ms, the servomotor will continue operation. If it is longer than50 ms, a power failure during converter drive operation alarm (A.41C) will occur and the servomotor’s powerwill be turned OFF.Note: The time that is treated as an instantaneous power interruption is 50 ms for a Σ-V-SD driver with EtherCAT (CoE)communications reference. You cannot change this time.• The holding time of the control power supply (24 VDC) depends on the capability ofthe power supply (provision of power supply: user’s responsibility). Check the powersupply before using the application.• If the load on the servomotor during the power interruption is large, an undervoltagealarm (A.410) or a converter DC undervoltage alarm (A.41A) may occur.Instantaneous power interruption50 ms ≥ OFF time (t)Instantaneous power interruptionOFF time (t)Power OFF50 ms ≥ OFF time (t) 50 ms < OFF time (t)Main circuitpower supplyServomotorstatus Power ONInstantaneous power interruption50 ms < OFF time (t)Instantaneous power interruptionForced OFFOFF time (t)Main circuitpower supplyServomotorstatus Power ONOperationcontinues.
