) )& :' - "% 4.20 Special System Timers4.20.1 Silence Inhibit TimerThis option, if selected, prevents the Alarm Silence key from functioning for 60 secondsfollowing an alarm. A new alarm during the initial 60 seconds will cause the timer torestart with a new 60 seconds. Silence Inhibit operation requires the approval of the localAuthority Having Jurisdiction.4.20.2 Autosilence TimerIf Autosilence is selected, the notification appliances, programmed as silenceable, willautomatically be silenced after a programmable duration of from 5 to 30 minutes.Pressing the Drill key will restart the timer. Autosilence operation requires the approvalof the local Authority Having Jurisdiction.4.20.3 Trouble ReminderIf selected, this feature causes a reminding ‘beep’ every 15 seconds during an alarm (afterthe Alarm Silence key is pressed) and every two minutes during a trouble condition (afterthe Acknowledge/Step or Alarm Silence key is pressed). The ‘beeps’ from the onboardpiezo sounder will occur until the alarm or fault is cleared.Note that if the trouble is not cleared within 24 hours, the piezo will resound, indicatingthat the trouble condition still exists.4.20.4 Waterflow Retard TimerIf selected, this option will delay the activation of a waterflow type alarm for aprogrammable time duration from 1 to 90 seconds. This delay is in addition to any timedelay inherent in the waterflow device. This feature requires the approval of the localAuthority Having Jurisdiction.
