Press to exit the menu.S UPERVISOR M ENUThe options available form the Supervisor Menu include:• Set Password• Enable/Disable Confirmation• Enable/Disable SNMP Support• Enable/Disable Alarm Notification• Set Refresh Rate• Set SNMP Status Trap RatePress to exit the menu.Set PasswordThis option allows you to create or modify a password. You are prompted to enter existing and newpasswords. This added layer of security prevents unauthorized users from modifying the systempassword.Enter current password if one exists. Enter the new password. Verify the new password by enteringit a second time. Once the same password is entered twice, it becomes the new BCVision password.A password may contain any printable ASCII character (20 - 7F hexadecimal). Passwords are notcase sensitive.To create or modify a BCVision password, use the Set Password option from the Supervisor Menu.Enable/Disable ConfirmationThroughout the program, execution of any critical function is preceded by a confirmation message.For example, if you instruct BCVision to reset a processor, the program displays a messagerequesting you to verify the reset before the command is actually executed. This is to preventaccidental functions from disrupting the system.
