CSX7000 43M ONITORING SYSTEMSAdministration through BCVisionView IES DetailYou may view information describing each IES (i.e., each CSX7000) on the IES Status Screen.Highlight the IES you wish to display, and then select the View IES Detail option from theFunctions Menu. You may also use the key sequence + V, if you prefer. The followingillustrates a sample IES Detail Display screen:This screen displays IES conditions at the time the screen is invoked. The information displayed isstatic. To update the screen, exit by selecting the OK or Cancel button, and request to view the IESagain. The fields displayed include:• Data Highway ID of the IES as determined by its switch settings• Description field (which may be modified form this screen)• current Date and Time of the real-time clock• current +12, -12, +5, and -5 Voltages for the subsystem• subsystem’s current temperature (in degrees Celsius)• Maximum Temperature Threshold. When this threshold is exceeded, an alarm is generated bythe IES Supervisory System. The user may modify this threshold via the Functions Menu.• Reboot Timeout, which is the amount of time that the IES will wait for a processor module toboot. If the processor does not go active within this interval, the IES will generate an alarm. Youmay modify this threshold via the Functions Menu.• Poll Interval, which determines how often the IES requests information from each processorresiding in the subsystem. You may modify this threshold via the Functions Menu.• list of all active AlarmsView BC ProcessorsTo monitor and control the processor modules within a platform, highlight the IES (i.e., platform),and select View BC Processors from the Functions Menu (or press ). The BC Status Screen,which displays all processor modules or groups within the platform, is displayed.
