Verify the version of DOS; it should now be 6.22.BCV ISION INSTALLATION AND SNMP AGENT S UPPORTThe BCVision program provides the user interface for information compiled by the EMS module.The BCVision software must be installed on the EMS disk drive. The BCVision software includesthe following applications:• BCVISION.EXE must run on the EMS processor to provide a user interface for IEScircuitry. Also provides support for SNMP instrumentation.• BCVISION.DAT support file for BCVision• BCVISION.HLP support file for BCVision• BCMASTER.EXE must run on the EMS processor to provide EMS bus communica-tions• IESFRMWR.BIN support file that contains the software which will be downloadedand run on each IES circuitryWhen the CSX7000 is powered up for the first time, an install script guides you through the stepsneeded to install BCVision and IPX support. However, the script does not allow you to configurethe IP-based SNMP agent support. To include this support, perform the following procedures priorto running the install script:1. Power on the CSX7000.2. Select the EMS processor for connection to the Local Console, video/keyboard, and flexiblediskette drive:• Press the ENABLE VIDEO control button.• Select the EMS module with the BC GROUP push buttons. Be sure the EMS group numberis displayed on the front panel LED.The console should display a message similar to the following: BC Series Processor Installation.The following software has been installed on this drive... Since this install process will be run later,press A to abort it.3. Insert the proper installation diskette (EMS setup) into the flexible diskette drive.4. Type: A:\SETUP. When you see the message Press any key to continue, press any key.5. When SETUP completes, you are ready to run the BC Series Processor install procedure.Remove the diskette from the flexible diskette drive, and reboot the BC Supervisor ( ).
