Switch the UPS input circuit breaker to the OFF (O) position.7. Disconnect the redundant signal cable(s) from the UPS.8. If you are shutting down all the UPSs in a parallel system, repeat Steps 1through 7 for each UPS, then remove utility power from the system. Otherwise,continue to Step 9.9. If it is necessary to completely remove power from the individual UPS,disconnect the UPS from the BladeUPS Bar.Parallel System ShutdownTo remove power to the parallel UPS system output (see Figure 32 on page 43):1. Switch each UPS load connector circuit breaker to the OFF (O) position.NOTE The load connector breaker controls the load connector only, not the output power cord.2. Press any button on any front panel display to activate the menu options. SelectTURN UPS ON/OFF, TURN SYSTEM OFF, and press the button.3. Confirm the selection. Press and hold the button for three seconds, until theUPS stops beeping.The UPS removes power to the parallel UPS system output.The output relays open, the UPSs transfer to Standby mode, and theindicators turn off.4.
