SeeFigure 51 for NO REPO wiring and Figure 52 for NC REPO wiring.4. Reconnect the REPO connector pins and turn on the UPS manually to restart. The pins must be shorted to keep the UPS running. Maximum resistance is10 ohm.NOTE The REPO wiring of a standalone UPS can be connected with the REPO wiring of a parallel system ifthe same sense (NO or NC) contacts are used. Be sure to match the polarity for the contacts.NOTE Always test the REPO function before applying your critical load to avoid accidental load loss.UPS REPO Terminals+ Polarity– Polarity21Normally-Open+ Polarity– Polarity21Normally-ClosedREPO Switch(Normally-Open)Factory-Installed Jumper Wire(do not remove)Figure 51. Normally-Closed REPO Switch Wiring in a Standalone UPSInstalling REPO for a Parallel SystemYou can install an optional REPO circuit that shuts down the entire parallel systemusing a single switch. To install a REPO switch for a parallel system, the selectedREPO command (NO or NC) contacts from each UPS in the system must be inparallel. To install a REPO switch for a parallel system:1. Verify that the UPS system is turned off and all power sources are removed. See“Parallel System Shutdown” on page 73 for shutdown instructions.2. Securely mount the remote REPO switch. Recommended locations include nearoperator's consoles or near exit doors. Refer to the REPO switch manufacturer'sinstallation instructions for enclosure dimensions and wiring knockouts.3. Connect Pin 1 to Pin 1 and connect Pin 2 to Pin 2 of each UPS in parallel for theselected REPO contacts, then connect the appropriate external switch to theselected REPO contact. See Figure 53 for NO REPO wiring and Figure 54 for NCREPO wiring.4. Reconnect the REPO connector pins and turn on the UPS manually to restart.Short the pins to keep the UPS running. Maximum resistance is 10 ohm.
