Setting Runway Limits for Nearest WaypointsNarrow the type of airports that you will accept bychoosing the runway length, lighting, and surfacetype. The Runway Limits selection also controls theairports that are displayed in the Map function.1. The runway length value will flash.Turn the SMALL knob to select the minimumrunway length you want considered. Choosing alength of 0 feet means you will accept any runwaylength. Choosing a runway length, for instance, of5,000 feet, will not show an available airport with arunway length less than 5,000 feet either for aNearest Waypoint or as an airport icon on the Mapdisplay. Note that a waypoint with a runway of 0length will not appear on either the nearest list, oron the map, if a length is set for the runway limitthat is greater than 0.
