You can connect LocalTalk cabledirectly to your Macintosh or to a LocalTalk network.Follow these steps to connect your Silentwriter to aLocalTalk network using RJ-11 cable.1. Connect LocalTalk cable and converter box to thetop connector of the LAN card panel.2. If the Silentwriter is at the end of a LocalTalknetwork, connect RJ-11 cable to one RJ-11connection in the converter box. If necessary,connect a 120-ohm terminator in the other RJ-11connection in the converter box (A).3. If the Silentwriter is in the middle of a LocalTalknetwork, move one cable from a workstation to oneRJ-11 connection in the converter box.
