The Printer Configurationmenu name will depend on the number of the NotInstalled Printer you selected. Backspace over the old name and enter a printername in the Printer Name text box. Users will seethis name on their list of available printers. Thename may be the same as the print server namedefined above, or it may be a name that users willrecognize more easily, for example, NEC Printer 0.16. Move to Type and press Enter.17. The printer type depends on the operating modeyou have chosen.For Ethernet connections- If you selected Network Printer mode, selectDefined Elsewhere from the Printer Typesmenu and press Enter.- If you selected Remote Printer mode, selectRemote Other/Unknown from the PrinterTypes menu and press Enter.For parallel printer connections, you may onlyselect remote printer mode.- Select Parallel, LPT<port> if your printer isconnected to a server running PSERVER.NLM.- Select Remote Parallel, LPT<port> if yourprinter is connected to a DOS workstationrunning PSERVER.EXE.- Select Remote Parallel, LPT<port> if yourprinter is connected to a DOS workstationdifferent from the one that is runningPSERVER.EXE. Select Queues Serviced by Printer from the PrintServer Configuration menu to move to the DefinedPrinters menu.20. Select the newly defined printer (NP_015446 in thisexample) and press Insert to move to the File ServerQueue menu.21. Press Insert to move to the Available Queues menu.22.
