If necessary, testthe communication withthe “ping” command.The DHCP relay isenabled with the correctIP address for theexternal DHCP server,but the DHCP server ismisconfigured.Check the external DHCPserver settings (forexample, is it configuredto a routable class of IPaddresses? Are thereenough IP addressspecified? If you specifieda subnet, is it correct?). Ifyou suspect the subnet,try using 255.255.255.0The DHCP relay isdisabled and the DHCPservice settings in theHSG are misconfigured.Check the internal DHCPservice settings.Subscribers are unable toroute to a domain name,but they can route to anIP address.The DNS server settingsare misconfigured.Check the DNS settings(host, domain, and theprimary, secondary, andtertiary DNS).The DNS server is down.
