|Handbook 37The Speed Dial (One Touch) KeypadThe One Touch keys are your fax machine’s most importanttool. Use them for quick, one-touch dialing, and to accessmost functions and programming options.Using the One Touch Keys for DialingTo use a One Touch key for dialing, just press the appropriateOne Touch key. For each key, you can program up to twotelephone numbers: a primary number, which will always bedialed first, and an optional alternate number which will beautomatically dialed if the first number is busy or if there isno answer. You can also use the Search key to find locationsprogrammed into One Touch keys.! One Touch Keys available: keys 1– 15 on the main OneTouch panel and keys 16–30 beneath the main OneTouch panel. To access One Touch keys 16–30, simplylift the main One Touch keypad by the latch on the leftside of the cover. When you’re finished, close the keypadto continue normal operation and programming.Using the One Touch Keys for SelectingFunctions and ProgrammingUse One Touch keys 1–10 for selecting special transmissionand reception functions, for obtaining reports, and for quickaccess to programming functions.To select a function:1 Press the Select Function key.2 Press the corresponding One Touch key.List of One Touch Keys with Descriptions1/Delayed TX keyUse this key to send a fax at a later time and date (withinthree days).
