55-1 Accessing SetupAfter you perform initial Setup (Server, Network, and Printer Setup) from the ControlPanel, you can change most Setup options from a Windows computer.Accessing SetupIn addition to using the Control Panel, you can set up the Fiery EX2101 in two ways:locally and remotely. Local Setup is for systems with the FACI. Local Setup uses aWindows XP application, Fiery Server Setup. Remote Setup is performed from aWindows computer using Fiery WebSetup or Command WorkStation.N OTE : In this chapter, illustrations for both Setup interfaces, where applicable, appearside by side: local Setup on the left, remote Setup on the right. Descriptions for theSetup options are listed in the order in which they appear on the local Setup window.Some Setup options cannot be accessed from remote Setup. Use local Setup or theFiery EX2101 Control Panel instead.N OTE : The FACI is available as an option.Regardless of how you access Setup, you must log in as Administrator, both at theFiery EX2101 and within the Setup application you use. After the Fiery EX2101restarts, log in to the Windows XP Logon window with Administrator as the loginname and enter the password, if required.N OTE : The default Windows XP password is “Fiery.1”. You are always prompted toenter this password unless you have set a new password.To use the Setup applications (Fiery WebSetup, Command WorkStation or FieryServer Setup), you must enter the Fiery EX2101 Administrator password.
