33-4 Preparing for Fiery EX2101 SetupGuest privileges (no password)No password is needed for a user to log in as a Guest from the job management tools.A Guest can view the status of active jobs but cannot make changes to jobs or to theFiery EX2101 state.Fiery WebToolsThe Fiery EX2101 can support Internet or intranet access from Windows and Mac OScomputers with Fiery WebTools. To enable use of Fiery WebTools, you must do thefollowing in Setup:• Enable TCP/IP.• Set an IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address for the Fiery EX2101.• Enable Web Services.For more information, see Chapter 6.N OTE : Fiery WebTools are not supported on Mac OS X.You can set passwords to control access to Fiery WebTools features. If you do notspecifically set these passwords, all users have access to all Fiery WebTools functions(see “Passwords” on page 3-3). Fiery WebTools include Status™ , WebLink™ ,WebDownloader™ , WebSetup, WebSpooler™ , and Installer™ .StatusThe Status WebTool provides you with current information on the jobs processing andprinting on the Fiery EX2101. It is not affected by passwords. For more information,see the Printing Guide.WebLinkWebLink provides all users with a link to an address on the Internet. To change theWebLink Internet address, see “Setting the WebLink destination” on page 6-3. Thisfunction requires the Administrator password, if one has been set (see “Passwords” onpage 3-3).N OTE : If you do not set the Administrator password, any user can change the WebLinkaddress, which affects all users. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you set anAdministrator password.
