4.4 Drive profile4.4.1 Overviewn The System SLIO motion module FM 054-1CB00 is based largely on the drive profileCiA 402.n The drive profile CiA 402 defines state machine, operating modes and objects(parameters) of components for the drive technology.n Here significant objects for control and evaluation of the state machine are Controlword, Status word and Operation mode.n Further object serve for configuration and diagnostics of the motion module.n All the object are summarized inÄ Chapter 5 ‘Object dictionary’ on page 96.n The most important objects can be found inÄ Chapter 4.11 ‘In-/Output area’on page 83.n The access of the objects during runtime happens viaÄ Chapter 4.12 ‘Acyclicchannel’ on page 86.Statemachine- The motion module has a state machine implemented. The status of thestate machine can be controlled by means of commands.Statechange- The relevant command or any errors cause a state change.State - The state is the current state of the state machine. Via the Status wordÄ ‘0x8100-02 - Status word’ on page 110 you can access the state. Herethe state is output via appropriate combinations of bits.Command - For triggering of state transitions, certain combinations of bits must be setin the Control wordÄ ‘0x8100-01 - Control word’ on page 109. Such acombination is called Command. The System SLIO motion module provides its data, such as "Profiling target position" viaan object dictionary. In this object dictionary the objects are organized and addressable aunique number consisting of Index and Subindex. The number is specified as follows:0x Index (hexadecimal) - Subindex (decimal)Example: 0x8400-03To improve the structure and for expansion at System SLIO MotionModule another object numbering (index-assignment) is used besides thestandard CiA 402.Access to 2 drivesFor each drive, there is an object dictionary whose structures are iden-tical. Please note that the descriptions always relate to drive 1, unlessotherwise noted. To access drive 2, you have to add 0x1000 to the corre-sponding object.– Object dictionary drive 1: 0x8000 ... 0x8FFF– Object dictionary drive 2: 0x9000 ... 0x9FFFDrive profile CiA 402Term definitionsAddressingVIPA System SLIODeploymentDrive profile > OverviewHB300 | FM | 054-1CB00 | en | 18-0650
