Users can select between the control and status words according tothe PROFIdrive profile or use the Yaskawa-specific control and status words.◆ PROFIdrive Communication Profile■ The Control Word and the Status WordThe contents of the Control Word and the Status Word are detailed in Table 7.1 and Table 7.2 respectively. Thedrive states are presented in the PROFIdrive State Machine (Figure 7.1).■ Frequency ReferenceThe Frequency reference is a 16-bit word containing a sign bit and a 15-bit integer. A negative reference(indicating reverse direction of rotation) is formed by calculating the two's complement from the correspondingpositive reference.
